(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Jan. 14 (Petra) --The Public Security Department (PSD) said Sunday its teams arrested two men and seized weapons after they raided and searched their houses, according to a security source.
The PSD's Preventive Security agents were tipped off about two suspects possessing unlicensed firearms, said the source, and added legal actions were pursued and the two persons were apprehended.
By searching the homes, the source further explained, automatic weapons, live ammunition and an electric baton were found and a an investigation into the incident was launched.
