Oman- Several parts of sultanate receive moderate to heavy rainfall


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Moderate to heavy rain hit parts of the sultanate on Wednesday. Some of the areas that saw rainfall included, Wadi al Ma'awel, Rustaq, Liwa, Fanja, Nakhal, Wadi al Jizzi and Amerat. The Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) on Wednesday said that there are chances of cloud intensification in northern parts leading to rainfall.

Bader al Baddei, the administrator of web-based forum (www.rathth.net) that discusses weather in Oman said, 'It rained heavy in Wadi al Ma'awel.' Sultan al Salmi a citizen said, 'The rain on the Fanja-Nakhal road varied from light to medium.'

PACA said that weather will remain clear to partly cloudy over Musandam and coastal areas of the Sea of Oman and Al Hajar Mountains with chances of rain.
