Florida: Medicaid recipients' records and data hacked

(MENAFN) Florida official declared the possibility of countless Medicaid patients' medical records and other private data to might have been hacked in November.

One of the staff was the "victim of a malicious phishing email" on 15 November, revealing the files of over 30,000 Medicaid enrollees, as confirmed in a press release by Florida's Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA).

The AHCA announced that an investigation discovered hackers to might have stolen the recipients' personal information including their names, Medicaid ID, Social Security number, addresses, as well as medical conditions and diagnoses.
