(MENAFN - Morocco World News) Rabat – The African Union is determined to restrain corruption. The 30th Ordinary Session of the AU's Summit, scheduled to take place from January 22 to 29, 2018 in Addis Ababa, will discuss ways to end .
The African body is ambitious to start its year by curbing corruption for the sake of the sustainable development of the African continent. The AU's 30th ordinary session of the assembly of heads of state and government will take place under the theme 'Winning the Fight against Corruption: a Sustainable Path towards Africa's Transformation,' according to AU.
The event will take place at the headquarters of the Pan-African block in Addis Ababa.
According to the AU's agenda, the regular session of the Committee of Permanent Representatives is set to take place on January 22-23, followed by the Executive Council, which will take place on January 25-26.
These two events will be eventually followed by the 30th Ordinary Session of the Heads of State of the African Union.
