Iraqi militant commander visits Lebanon-Israel border

(MENAFN)Qais Al Khazali, a powerful Iran-backed Iraqi militant commander arrived at the Lebanon-Israel border in order to support Lebanese and Palestinians against the Israeli regime.

He was the commander of the Iranian-backed Asaib Ahl Al Haq, or League of the Righteous, a group that attacked US troops a number of times before they retreated from Iraq in 201.

The commander appeared in military uniform in a video while touring the border with members of Lebanon"s militant Hezbollah group.

Prime Minister Sa'ad Hariri expressed disagreement to this visit and said in a statement that it is a violation of Lebanese law, and consequently he ordered that Al Khazaali be banned from entering Lebanon again.
