An award which honors the efforts of manufacturers of nonwoven based filtration products/elements and celebrates their continuous efforts for excellence and innovation.
Any company who designs or manufactures nonwoven related filtration products, or components of these, is eligible to enter the competition, provided at least one company delegate participates in FILTREX™ 2019.

In 2017, the FILTREX Innovation Award was won by Freudenberg Filtration Technologies. They were honoured for their brand new micronAir® blue filter. The filter is a highly efficient four-layer particle filter that features a patented two layered filter media focusing on PM 10 and PM 2.5 particles as well as a combi-filter that protects against harmful gases and an anti-allergen filter layer. WHAT ABOUT THE FILTRATION INDUSTRY?
Filter media, including all applications, are one of the fastest growing end-uses of nonwovens globally and in each continent (over 9% average annual growth both before and after the 2008 financial crisis).
Increasing awareness for individuals and for authorities of the need to control our immediate environment, be it at home, in the workplace or while travelling means that filters, especially those made with nonwoven components play an essential role in our everyday lives. Helping to promote the benefits of and demand for nonwoven filter media across the globe is a key area of support that EDANA provides to the industry, and the FILTREX™ conference provides manufacturers and companies along the supply chain with valuable insight and innovative ideas about their sector.
