Amir Receives Phone Call From US President

Doha, Qatar: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call on Monday from the, President of the United States of America, HE Donald Trump.

During the call, the two leaders reviewed the latest developments in the Middle East in light of the political and security developments taking place across the region, as well as regional and international efforts aimed at de-escalation and enhancing stability.

HH the Amir stressed the importance of prioritizing political and diplomatic solutions and fostering dialogue among all parties in a manner that contributes to strengthening regional security and stability and prevents further tensions and escalation.

The call also addressed the importance of continuing dialogue efforts to address current issues, while emphasizing the need to safeguard maritime security, ensure the safety of strategic waterways, and maintain the uninterrupted flow of global energy supplies and supply chains.
