NEW YORK - Veronica Navarro Espinosa has joined Barclays as global head of communications for the investment bank. Navarro Espinosa joins after a decade at JPMorgan Chase, where she most recently led communications for the bank's US wealth management business. She previously oversaw communications for the investment bank across Latin America and Canada.
TORONTO - Loblaw Companies has appointed Rob Nicol as VP of communication, overseeing enterprise-wide communications, issues management and reputation efforts across the retailer's grocery, pharmacy, corporate and digital operations. Nicol joins Loblaw after more than eight years as VP of corporate affairs at Walmart Canada, where he led communications, government relations, sustainability and community affairs.
MIAMI - Spearmint Energy has promoted Yelena Kuznetsova to chief marketing communications officer. Kuznetsova joined the battery storage company in 2023 and has led brand, investor and corporate communications efforts. Prior to Spearmint, she was a senior VP at Capital Dynamics, where she focused on marketing communications for clean energy infrastructure and private credit.
CHARLOTTE, NC - Terrestrial Energy has appointed Tyler Gronbach as VP of investor relations and public relations. Gronbach joins from Wolfspeed, where he served as VP of external affairs. He previously held communications leadership roles at Thermo Fisher Scientific and will oversee investor and media relations as Terrestrial Energy advances commercialization of its small modular nuclear reactor technology.

Austin most recently served as chief marketing officer at Exos.
