"Now it [Russia] is also threatening other countries nearby, and much more openly than before. Every neighbor of Russia has heard words about Armenia, whose people are the only ones who have the right and will choose the future of their country. And what Russia is saying about Armenia is actually not only about it. So that no one depends on Russia and does not give it tools to blackmail nations," Zelensky said.

"We very much hope that Europe's positions on these matters – and those of the European Union above all – will be principled, will be strong, and will be timely. No one can be left without support – Europe has no right to lose any of its peoples, to leave any country behind. Armenia must be supported. Moldova must be supported. The Baltic states. Azerbaijan must be supported. We must find ways to support the people of Georgia as well – and this is a shared European task. No one can be lost. And I am grateful to everyone in Europe who supports us, supports Ukraine – who does it sufficiently and with exactly those decisions, exactly those steps that can truly help us," Zelensky said.
Russian authorities earlier threatened Armenia with suspending or terminating agreements on gas, oil products, and uncut diamonds if Yerevan continues its rapprochement with the European Union.
