Over 200,000 Students In Ukraine Study Online Education Minister Lisovyi
"We have more than 200,000 students studying online for various reasons. The most important group for us, which we are working with and investing in, is in frontline regions. These are children who would like to study offline, but security requirements do not allow it. Some children, or their parents, consciously choose to remain in online education. This applies to families of internally displaced persons who choose to continue online to finish their schooling at their home school," Lisovyi said.
According to him, most of these students are from the Donetsk, Luhansk, and Zaporizhzhia regions.
He also noted that around 60,000 children currently abroad continue their Ukrainian education online.
"About 60,000 children who are abroad remain in the Ukrainian education system and continue studying online," the minister said.

"There are online schools that provide sufficiently high-quality education. Imagine peacetime. A combination is possible – studying in an online school, while extracurricular activities remain fully offline. At the same time, a normal school is still an offline school. Online tools can be used as different types of activities, and in the future, it will be a combination of these two approaches," he said.
