A day before his death anniversary, Lara took to Instagram to post a touching photograph featuring herself, her father, and her daughter. Alongside the image, she shared a deeply personal message that read, "DAD............... EVERY. SINGLE. DAY....... FOREVER."

Lara Dutta's father, retired Wing Commander LK Dutta, passed away on May 31, 2025. A distinguished officer of the Indian Air Force, he was known to have been a strong influence in the actor's life and career.
