Foreign Ministry Building Damaged During Massive Attack On Kyiv

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) According to Ukrinform, this was reported by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha on X.

Sybiha noted that the unique architectural landmark, designed by Iosif Langbard and built in 1939, had suffered damage for the first time since World War II.

“Looking at its broken windows this morning, I can state with full confidence on behalf of our entire diplomatic team: Russian terrorists will not make us stop. The Ukrainian diplomacy will continue effectively fulfilling its tasks, countering Russian aggression, and bringing peace closer,” he wrote.

The Foreign Minister stressed that the Russian strikes targeted the historic district – the very center of ancient Rus.

“Yet another proof we are dealing with hordes of barbarians, not the heirs of civilisation,” Sybiha emphasized.

As reported by Ukrinform, damage following the massive Russian attack was recorded at 50 locations across Kyiv, including apartment buildings, private homes, shopping centers, educational institutions, a market, administrative buildings belonging to the State Emergency Service and police, as well as the Chornobyl National Museum.

Damage was also reported to the building of the Kyiv Municipal Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre.
