Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan Leaders Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Ties


(MENAFN) Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a phone conversation on Sunday focused on expanding cooperation between the two countries, according to reports citing the Azerbaijani presidential office.

During the call, both leaders reportedly emphasized the continued development of friendly and strategic relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, highlighting what they described as strong bilateral ties.

According to reports, Aliyev also extended birthday congratulations to Tokayev, wishing him good health and success in his leadership role, as well as prosperity for the Kazakh people.

Tokayev, in turn, expressed gratitude for the message and acknowledged the cordial nature of the exchange, according to the official statement.

The conversation reflects ongoing diplomatic engagement between the two Caspian-region states, which continue to deepen cooperation across political and economic areas, according to reports.
