Aliyev, Tokayev Hold Talks on Expanding Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan Cooperation


(MENAFN) Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a phone conversation on Sunday focused on broadening cooperation between their countries, according to reports.

During the call, both leaders emphasized the steady progress in the close and brotherly relationship shared by Baku and Astana, highlighting ongoing collaboration between the two nations.

According to reports, Aliyev also extended birthday wishes to Tokayev, expressing hopes for his good health, professional success, and continued prosperity for the people of Kazakhstan.

Tokayev, in turn, thanked the Azerbaijani president for the warm congratulations, the statement added.
