ICC Issues Secret Warrants for Israeli Officials in Gaza-Related Case
(MENAFN) The International Criminal Court (ICC) has reportedly issued confidential arrest warrants against five Israeli officials, including three political figures and two members of the military, according to reports published Sunday.
The development comes after the court in The Hague issued arrest warrants in November 2024 for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant over allegations of war crimes and crimes against humanity linked to the Gaza conflict.
The ICC has not released any immediate official confirmation regarding the latest reported warrants. If verified, the total number of Israeli officials wanted by the court would rise to seven.
According to reports, more than 72,000 people — the majority of them women and children — have been killed in the Gaza Strip since October 2023, while over 172,000 others have been injured during the ongoing war.
Israeli military operations have also continued despite a ceasefire that took effect on Oct. 10, 2025. Gaza’s Health Ministry says more than 870 people have been killed and over 2,540 injured since the truce began.
