Dr Erin Smith is the Acting Head of Department of Rural Allied Health and an Associate Professor in Paramedicine at the La Trobe Rural Health School at La Trobe University. Erin completed her PhD with the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. She has also completed a Master of Public Health and a Master of Clinical Epidemiology. Erin is a member of the Mental Health Advisory Group of the Emergency Services Foundation (ESF) and served for seven years as a Board Director for the World Association for Disaster and Emergency Medicine (WADEM).
