Israeli Forces Detain 10 Palestinians, Including Children

(MENAFN) Israeli troops apprehended 10 Palestinians, among them five minors, on Friday during a series of incursions across the occupied West Bank, according to local reports. The operations unfolded in multiple areas, with detentions carried out amid heightened military activity in the region.

Sources informed a news agency that Israeli soldiers captured five children while they were gathering wild plants south of Hebron, following alleged incitement by Israeli occupiers. The detained minors were reportedly moved to an undisclosed location, and there is currently no information regarding their condition.

In a separate incident in the central West Bank, Israeli forces circulated a photograph showing several young men after their arrest in Burqa village, located east of Ramallah, as reported by a correspondent. The image depicted five detainees, while authorities did not release further details about their identities or circumstances.

Additional raids were conducted by Israeli forces in Beit Fajjar, south of Bethlehem, and in Abu Falah, northeast of Ramallah, though no further arrests or injuries were reported in those areas. Meanwhile, according to official Palestinian statistics, since October 2023, Israeli military actions and settler-related attacks in the West Bank have resulted in at least 1,155 Palestinian deaths, around 11,750 injuries, and nearly 22,000 arrests.
