UAE President, Moroccan King Hold Phone Talks On Middle East Developments

Abu Dhabi: President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed in a phone call on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, with King Mohammed VI of the Kingdom of Morocco the developments taking place in the Middle East and their serious implications for regional and international security and stability, as well as their impact on maritime security and the global economy.

They also exchanged views on these issues.

Both sides affirmed during the call their commitment to continued fraternal consultation and coordination while strengthening cooperation and joint action between the two countries in light of the challenges the region is facing.

They also discussed cooperation relations across a number of fields, particularly in development paths and ways to advance them to broader horizons in a manner that serves the mutual interests of the two countries.
