Steel Ministry Calls Industry Meet To Address Import Concerns


(MENAFN- KNN India) New Delhi, Apr 22 (KNN) The Ministry of Steel will hold an Open House on April 27, 2026, to discuss issues related to steel imports, inviting companies and industry associations to present their concerns.
According to the Ministry of Steel, the session will take place at Steel

Room, GPOA-3, Netaji Nagar, New Delhi, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with participation based on prior registration and allotted time slots.

The Open House will focus on issues related to frameworks such as SIMS, SARAL SIMS, and QCO exemptions for steel imports. Interested participants are required to submit details including company information, nature of industry, issue summary, and application references, if any, via email to secure a confirmed slot.

The Ministry has specified that only one representative per organisation will be allowed, and walk-in participation will not be permitted due to logistical constraints.

Requests for participation must be submitted by April 24, 2026, by 3:00 PM.
