Qatar Stock Exchange Index Gained 17.36 Points At Start Of Trading.

Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index opened higher today, gaining 0.16 percent, adding 17.36 points to reach 10,732 points compared to the previous session's close. This rise was supported by gains in four sectors.

QSE figures showed positive performance in the banking and financial services sector (up 0.49 percent), real estate (up 0.24 percent), consumer goods and services (up 0.23 percent), and transportation (up 0.20 percent).

Conversely, the industrial sector declined by 0.06 percent, the insurance sector by 0.25 percent, and the telecommunications sector by 1.42 percent.

As of 10:00 AM, QSE had recorded trading volume of QR 117.587 million, distributed across 49.778 million shares, with 6,124 transactions executed.
