Ukrenergo: Power Outages Reported In 15 Regions Due To Shelling And Severe Weather
"Due to adverse weather conditions (rain, strong gusts of wind), as of this morning, more than 170 settlements in nine regions-Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Poltava, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, Odesa, and Mykolaiv-are completely or partially without power. Regional power company repair crews are already working to repair the damage," the statement reads.
In addition, due to drone, rocket, and artillery strikes, users in the Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Sumy, Kherson, and Odesa regions are without power as of this morning. Power companies have begun repairs wherever safety conditions allow.
It is also reported that as of 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, electricity consumption was at the same level as the previous day.
“Today, there is a need for energy saving in all regions of Ukraine. Please limit the use of high-power electrical appliances from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and do not turn on several such appliances at the same time,” Ukrenergo advises.
As reported, on Tuesday, April 7, power restriction schedules will be in effect for industrial users from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in all regions.
