Defense Forces Strike At Least 30% Of The Oil Storage Tanks In Ust-Luga, Says CCD

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) According to Ukrinform, Andrii Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, reported this on Telegram.

“At least 30% of the tanks in Ust-Luga were damaged as a result of the latest attacks on the Russian port,” Kovalenko said.

As reported by Ukrinform, drones attacked the Leningrad region in March; among the damaged facilities was Russia's key Baltic port, Ust-Luga.

According to Bloomberg, the port of Ust-Luga resumed oil loading after several days of disruptions caused by numerous drone attacks. The Aframax-class vessel Jewel began loading oil on April 4, according to shipping data reviewed by the publication. As of the morning of April 6, the vessel had been loaded but lacked a clear destination, according to the data.

Loading operations in Ust-Luga were halted in late March following an intensification of drone attacks on energy infrastructure along the Baltic coast.
