Saud Al Atwan said the Duty Force of the National Guard had tracked eight drones and shot them down in the southern part of the country as part of combined efforts and coordination among the military agencies in the country.

Al Atwan noted that the Inspection and Explosive Ordnance Disposal Group of the Land Forces Engineering has handled 172 reports thus far since the start of the operations.

He emphasised that the Kuwaiti armed forces are on a swivel and constantly operate in combined coordination with various military sectors in the country.
