Qatarenergy To Stop Downstream Production

Doha, Qatar: Further to the decision by QatarEnergy to stop production of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and associated products, the company announced its decision to stop the production of some downstream products in the State of Qatar.
This was announced today, March 3, 2026 by QatarEnergy in a press statement.

It said that these products include urea, polymers, methanol, aluminum and more.
