(MENAFN- UkrinForm) According to Ukrinform, the Times of Israel reported this.

According to the IDF, about 100 fighter jets were involved in the operation, dropping more than 250 bombs.

The Israeli military said that the targets included the office of the Iranian president, the headquarters of the Supreme National Security Council-a complex used by Iran's top leadership for meetings-and an institution for training Iranian army officers.

“The leadership complex of the terror regime is one of the most secured assets in Iran and spans many streets in the heart of Tehran,” the military says.

They called it“most important and central headquarters for the Iranian terror regime,” noting that the complex was used by Iran's former supreme leader, Ali Khamenei.

“The leadership and security officials of the terror regime convened in the compound frequently, and from there conducted, among other things, situation assessments regarding the Iranian nuclear program and the advancement of the plan to destroy the State of Israel,” the IDF added.

As reported by Ukrinform, US forces destroyed a large number of Iranian air defense systems and launch sites for ballistic missiles and drones as part of an operation against Iran.
