Karina Utami Dewi is an assistant professor at the Department of International Relations, Universitas Islam Indonesia. She teaches and researches in peace and conflict studies, gender and politics, and politics of the United States of America. She earned her Bachelor and Masters Degree in International Relations from Universitas Gadjah Mada, and has participated in several reputable programs such as TF-NUS Leadership Enrichment Award and Regional Networking (TF-NUS LEaRN Award), JENESYS Special Program for Graduate Students from Japan Foundation, and as a scholar for Study of the US Institute (SUSI), Study of US Foreign Policy funded by US Department of State.
