Profile Articles Activity

I'm an Assistant Professor in the School of Earth, Environment and Society (SEES) in Faculty of Science in McMaster University.
I have a PhD in Earth and Environmental Sciences where my research focused on glacial environments in Perú and Iceland using a variety of approaches and methodologies such as sedimentology and landsystem analysis to understand the role in which these environments play in glacial hazards. I also completed a graduate diploma from the collaborative program Water Without Borders between the United Nations University - Institute for Water, Environment and Health (UNU-INWEH) and McMaster University.
Current research interest include understanding rapidly deglaciating environments in the Andes, climate science pedagogies, Latinx Geographies, and Latin American Studies and Latinx Studies with a focus on understanding the experiences of Latin American/Latinx communities in Ontario and Canada.
