Commerce Min. Inspects Shuaiba Industrial Area To Ensure Operational Continuity

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, March 2 (KUNA) - Minister of Commerce and Industry and Chairman of the Board of the Public Authority for Industry, Osama Boodai, on Monday inspected the Shuaiba Industrial Area to ensure continuity of operations under current circumstances.
The Authority said in a statement to KUNA that Boodai met Director General of the Kuwait Ports Authority, Sheikh Khaled Salem Al-Abdulaziz Al-Sabah, to review workflow and the readiness of vital facilities.
The tour included the cooling water stations and the emergency center, where the minister was briefed on safety measures and emergency plans to ensure uninterrupted services to factories in the area.
The visit underscores coordination among concerned authorities to maintain operations in one of Kuwait's key industrial and logistical hubs.
The visit was conducted in the presence of Acting Director General of the Public Authority for Industry, Shamlan Al-Juhaydli. (end)
