Saudi Mod: Two Drones Intercepted, Destroyed After Attempted Attack On Ras Tanura Refinery

RIYADH, March 2 (KUNA) -- The Saudi Ministry of Defense (MoD) announced on Monday that two drones were intercepted and destroyed after attempting to target the Ras Tanura refinery earlier in the day.
The official spokesperson for the Saudi Ministry of Defense, Major General Turki Al-Malki, stated that the interception operation resulted in debris falling near civilian facilities and populated areas.
He added that limited material damage occurred as a result of falling debris during the interception process, but no civilian injuries were reported. (end)
