Kuwait PM Visits Electricity Ministry's Control Center

KUWAIT, March 1 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah on Sunday paid an inspection tour of the national control center of the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy.
Accompanied by Minister of Public Works and Acting Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan, His Highness the Prime was kept posted on relevant measures taken by the center's departments.
He underlined the significance of raising the efficiency of the performance and ensuring continued vital services amid the current circumstances that require the highest levels of readiness and preparedness.
His Highness the Prime Minister also listened to a briefing from the center's operation officials on response to emergency in order to guarantee the highest levels of safety, lauding the capability of Kuwaiti staff in running the center's facilities. (end)
