King Receives Call From Cyprus President

Amman, March 1 (Petra) His Majesty King Abdullah II received a phone call from Cyprus President Nikos Christodoulides on Sunday, during which they discussed the recent regional developments.
His Majesty reaffirmed that Jordan will continue to take the necessary measures to protect its security and sovereignty, and safeguard the safety of its citizens.
The two sides emphasised the need to respect the sovereignty of states, and to de-escalate the situation through diplomatic channels and dialogue.
