Kuwait Amir Receives Call From Oman's Sultan

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, March 1 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received on Sunday a phone call from Oman's Sultan Haitham bin Tariq who reassured about Kuwait, its leadership and people following the heinous Iranian attack on the country's territory.
During the call, the Sultan expressed Oman's strong condemnation and denunciation of this blatant aggression which is a violation of Kuwait's sovereignty and its airspace as well as international law and the United Nations Charter.
Sultan Haitham affirmed his country's standing with Kuwait and support for all measures and decisions made by the country to maintain its sovereignty, stability and security.
He also affirmed Oman's readiness to harness all potential to back Kuwait, praying to Allah to protect Kuwait and its people from any evil.
Meanwhile, His Highness the Amir highly expressed gratitude to Sultan Haitham, wishing him everlasting well-being. (end)
