Kuwait's Defense Min. Holds Call With Dubai Crown Prince, Affirms Full Solidarity With UAE

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, March 1 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Minister of Defense Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah held a phone call Sunday with Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammad bin Rashid Al-Maktoum.
According to a statement by the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense, the call reviewed the latest developments, during which Sheikh Abdullah Ali Al-Sabah expressed Kuwait's full solidarity with the UAE and reaffirmed its firm rejection of any aggression threatening its security, stability, territorial integrity, or the safety of its citizens and residents.
He also stressed the importance of enhancing coordination and joint cooperation between the two sisterly countries to strengthen security and stability, safeguard shared interests, and maintain regional peace. (end)
