King Receives Phone Call From Iraq President

Amman, March 1 (Petra) -- His Majesty King Abdullah II received a phone call on Sunday from Iraq President Abdul Latif Rashid to discuss developments in the region.
The two leaders stressed the need to respect the sovereignty of countries in the region, and utilise diplomatic channels to resolve conflict.
The call also covered the importance of stepping up international efforts to de-escalate the situation and restore calm.
