Ministry Announces Price Reduction On Over 1,000 Items For Ramadan
Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced the Discounted Goods Initiative for the holy month of Ramadan.
It said that price reductions will be applied on more than 1,000 goods.
This initiative is part of its efforts to ease the cost of living during the holy month of Ramadan.
The Ministry further urged consumers to look for "Reduced Prices by The Ministry of Commerce and Industry" label at retail outlets to benefit from the discounts.

The initiative covers a wide range of essential consumer goods, including food items such as flour, sugar, rice, pasta, chicken, oil, milk, and others, as well as non-food items such as paper towels, aluminum foil, detergents, washing powders, and other goods that are in high demand during the holy month.
The Ministry further affirmed that it will continue to monitor commercial outlets' compliance with the approved reduced prices and encouraged everyone to take advantage of the initiative and shop responsibly.
