Russian Forces Shell Railway Infrastructure In Sumy Region, One Person Injured
"The Russian army carried out a massive overnight drone attack on the railway infrastructure of the Sumy region. In the Shostka district, a railway worker – a station duty officer – came under fire while on her way to work. Medical assistance was provided promptly," the statement said.
In addition, a "Resilience Railcar" set up in the community to provide heating for residents was also hit. People were in shelter at the time. Railway buildings and a locomotive were also damaged. Despite the attack, as soon as the security situation allowed, railway workers restored train services.

Kuleba stressed that the Russian army is deliberately targeting Ukraine's logistics. Despite this, Ukraine's railways are strengthening security protocols and continuing operations.
