(MENAFN- PRovoke) MONTREAL - L'Oréal Canada has appointed Laurie Bouchard as chief corporate affairs and engagement officer, effective January 12. Bouchard joins the company following more than a decade in senior communications roles within Canadian politics and public affairs. Most recently, she served as deputy director of communications in the Office of the Prime Minister of Canada and led communications during Prime Minister Mark Carney's election campaign. Earlier in her career, she held senior communications roles across the Canadian government, including director of communications for the minister of innovation, science and industry.

SAN RAFAEL, CA - The Pasha Group has appointed Cary Davis as VP of government affairs, where he will lead advocacy, corporate communications, and stakeholder engagement across the company's global logistics and maritime operations. Davis joins Pasha from the American Association of Port Authorities, where he served as president and CEO for six years. Earlier in his career, he was a presidential appointee at the US Department of Commerce and held legislative roles on Capitol Hill, including serving as counsel to former Rep. Dan Donovan.

PITTSBURGH - Viatris has appointed Lara Ramsburg as chief people and corporate affairs officer, combining leadership of the company's global people function with its corporate affairs organization. Ramsburg has led corporate affairs at Viatris since 2019 and previously held senior roles including head of integration and positions within the Office of the CEO. In her expanded role, she will oversee global talent, total rewards, employee experience, and HR business partnering, alongside internal and external communications.

WASHINGTON - Drax Group has named Karen Gravois Elliott as VP of communications, North America, effective January 7. Elliott will lead internal and external communications, executive positioning, and issues and crisis management across the region. She joins Drax from the US–China Business Council, where she served as VP and head of communications and publications. Earlier roles include senior communications positions at Washington-based trade associations and a journalism career with the Associated Press and PBS NewsHour, as well as service on Capitol Hill.
