Provoke Media Unveils New Team Structure


(MENAFN- PRovoke) LONDON - PRovoke Media has unveiled a new organizational structure, as the leading global outlet for the PR and communications industry embarks on an ambitious growth strategy for the year ahead.

The publication – which was founded by Paul Holmes as the Holmes Report in 2000 and rebranded as PRovoke Media in 2020 – has a new executive leadership team comprised of Holmes, who remains as CEO; chief commercial officer Kim Cataldi, who has been with the company since 2021; and Maja Pawinska Sims, who becomes editorial director after eight years as EMEA editor.

On the editorial side of the business, news editor Diana Marszalek, who has been with PRovoke Media since 2017, becomes managing editor and will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all news, including regular features such as Headliners and This PR Life, plus the CCO and Agency Leader podcast series. Marszalek will also be responsible for submitted and commissioned articles from the PR industry, and managing freelance journalists around the world.

The executive leadership team will work together on business strategy and new product development, alongside president of events Patrick Drury – who has been with the firm since 2013 and will continue to develop and oversee all PRovoke Media events around the world – and chief administrative officer Celeste Picco.

Pawinska Sims will continue to lead all special projects, including PRovoke's Best Agencies lists, the Influence 100, and Innovator 25, as well as working closely with Cataldi to maximize the value of PRovoke editorial and events content for advertisers, sponsors and industry partners.

Camillia Dass, who joined PRovoke Media a year ago, continues in her role as Asia Pacific editor, having reinvigorated the publication's coverage across the region.

In addition to these responsibilities, each member of the editorial team will continue to develop relationships in their own spheres of influence: Pawinska Sims will take the lead in the UK and the Middle East; Marszalek will focus on North America, Latin America, and Africa; Dass will handle Asia Pacific, with a particular focus on developing the Australian market; and Holmes will be responsible for deepening relationships in continental Europe.

Sarah Q, who joined PRovoke Media in 2025, becomes a full-time member of the team as director of marketing; she will continue to support Cataldi and Drury on partnerships and events, as well as running PRovoke's owned social media channels.

Holmes said:“PRovoke Media has an incredible team of professionals on both the editorial and commercial sides of our business. I have complete confidence that Maja and Kim are ready to take on greater leadership responsibility. These changes will strengthen the management of the business, increase transparency internally, and set us up for even greater success in the years ahead.”

He added:“We are a small but mighty organization, widely dispersed around the world, and even with these changes we are not particularly hierarchical. I love the enthusiasm and individual initiative of all our team members, and working together we will go from strength to strength in PRovoke Media's 26th year.”

At the end of 2025, PRovoke Media announced its first MENA Sabre Awards and there are plans for a new Australia and New Zealand competition in 2026. In addition, a new partnership with PRCA will expand the African SABRE awards.
