Winter Sports Club Organizes Kuwait National Speed Skating Tourney

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Nov 30 (KUNA) -- The Winter Sports Club organized on Sunday the second Kuwait National Short Course Speed Skating Championship with approximately 20 athletes participating in the event.
The one-day tournament, which showcased a remarkable level of Kuwaiti talent, saw Adeeb Halawa crowned gold in the men's category, Bader Al-Sarraf take gold in the youth category, Ahmad Maarefi wins first place in the junior category, and Saud Salem claim gold in the cadet category.
The Winter Sports Club President Fahad Al-Ajmi told reporters after the awards ceremony that the competition was intense and highly competitive, with the athletes delivering outstanding performances that impressed the audience.
Al-Ajmi added that the club was keen to hold this tournament to support its athletes and develop their technical skills in preparation for representing the national team in upcoming regional and international competitions. (end)
