Ukrainian Defenders Halt Enemy On Approaches To Huliaipole Military Spox

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) This was stated on air by the Southern Defense Forces Spokesperson, Vladyslav Voloshyn, Ukrinform reports.

“The situation is quite difficult. The enemy continues assault actions, attempting to push back Ukraine's Defense Forces. However, there are no enemy troops in Huliaipole itself. They have been stopped and blocked on the approaches to the settlement. Ukrainian Defense Forces are carrying out countermeasures against enemy attacks, and search-and-strike operations are ongoing to identify groups trying to infiltrate the settlement. Therefore, there are no combat clashes in Huliaipole itself. The enemy has not entered the settlement,” Voloshyn said.

As Ukrinform previously reported, the Center for Countering Disinformation refuted information claiming Russian troops had entered Huliaipole.
