Third Caribbean Days enlighten The Capital of Europe

(MENAFN- Outlook entertainment) BRUSSELS (November 22, 2025) – The Caribbean Chamber of Commerce in Europe (CCCE) has inaugurated the third edition of Caribbean Days in Brussels, transforming the European capital into a vibrant showcase of Caribbean culture and entrepreneurship from 22 to 28 November 2025 at the iconic Steigenberger Wiltcher’s Hotel.
The event is designed to highlight the region’s creative and commercial strengths, reinforcing Brussels’ role as a bridge between Europe and the Caribbean. The Caribbean Days event positions itself as a strategic platform for trade, investment, and cultural exchange between two dynamic regions.
At the heart of the program are the creative industries, with a diverse agenda covering arts, culinary experiences, fashion, film, literature, and poetry. Alongside the cultural agenda, B2B workshops focus on promoting premium Caribbean products such as cocoa, coffee, condiments & spices, rum & spirits, and West Indian Sea Island cotton, positioning the region as a source of high-end, value-added goods.
A major highlight is the Caribbean Film Days, the first dedicated Caribbean film festival in Belgium, featuring more than 40 documentaries, movies and short films from 16 countries and territories. The screenings, delivered through the Yard Vibes digital platform operated by Caribbean Creativity, premiere award-winning productions in Belgium and the European Union, amplifying Caribbean storytelling on an international stage.
The Caribbean Culinary Days bring gastronomy to the fore, with internationally acclaimed Chef Orlando flying in from Saint Lucia to present an exclusive three-course Caribbean gourmet menu at The Loui restaurant. Guests can also experience a specially curated Caribbean cocktail menu at The Loui Bar, offering a refined immersion into the region’s flavours and a 3-course Caribbean Gourmet Menu for a special rate of €69 per person.
Visual culture is celebrated through the Caribbean Arts Exhibition, organised in collaboration with Art Gallery “Les Iles”, showcasing works by Trinidadian painter Brian Ashing and other Caribbean artists. Accompanied by authentic Caribbean island music, the exhibition delivers a multi-sensory experience that recreates the spirit of the Caribbean in the very heart of Europe’s capital.
According to Jo Spalburg, Secretary General and Executive Director of CCCE, the event reflects a growing ambition to present the Caribbean’s cultural heritage, gastronomic excellence, and premium products to European audiences.
CCCE extends gratitude to its partners and sponsors, including Art Gallery “Les Iles”, Caribbean Creativity, David’s Rum Selection, HJT Tax, La Corbeille à Confitures, Le Petit Traveller, The Cloth, and The House of Angostura.
