J&K Govt Orders Major Reshuffle In PDD

Srinagar- The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Saturday ordered a major reshuffle in the Power Development Department (PDD), issuing a fresh list of transfers and postings of I/c Executive Engineers and I/c Assistant Engineers across different corporations and divisions.

According to the order issued by Financial Commissioner (ACS) Shailendra Kumar, several I/c Assistant Executive Engineers (Electric) who were recently placed as I/c Executive Engineers on 17 October 2025 have now been posted to new assignments with immediate effect.

As per the order, Riyaz Ahmad Kababi has been posted as Executive Engineer, ED Kupwara, KPDCL, replacing Aijaz Muzaffar Ronga, who will await further posting. Miss Bilquise Draboo has been posted to STD II, KPDCL, against a vacant position, while Munib-ur-Rehman has been shifted to SLDC Bemina, JKPTCL, with additional charge of Executive Engineer, ED Bijbehara, KPDCL.

Rajesh Sharma has been placed at the disposal of the MD, JKPDC, for further posting. Rohit Bhagotra will join STD I, JPDCL Jammu, and Zahoor Ahmad Rather has been posted to ED Sumbal, KPDCL. Qaiser Khalil Qadri has been assigned STD Bijbehara, KPDCL.

Ghulam Nabi Mir has been posted to JKPCL Division I, Srinagar, and will also hold additional charge of Executive Engineer, STD I Srinagar, KPDCL. Malik Habib Ahmad has been posted to the Electric Inspection Division, Kashmir. Vinod Kumar has been shifted to IT&C Division, JPDCL Jammu, and Peer Abdul Hamid has been posted to ED Kulgam, KPDCL.

Other transfers include Sardari Lal, posted to ED II Gandhi Nagar, JPDCL Jammu; Latief Ahmad Parray to ED III, KPDCL; Manjeet Singh to TLMD II Gladni, JKPTCL Jammu; and Riyaz Ahmad Naik to Central Store Division, JPDCL Jammu. Vishal Chouhan will head ED Pulwama, KPDCL, with additional charge of STD Pulwama.

Meenakshi Sadhotra has been posted to Projects Division (Circle II) Doda, JPDCL, while Arun Gupta has been shifted to Projects Division (Circle I), JPDCL Jammu. Vaneet Gupta has been posted to ED Udhampur, JPDCL, with additional charge of STD Udhampur, while Yasir Arafat Khan has joined ED Reasi, JPDCL. Rajeev Koul has been appointed Executive Engineer, TLMD II Pampore, JKPTCL.

In a separate order (159-JK(PDD) of 2025), the government placed a large number of newly promoted I/c Assistant Engineers at the disposal of various Managing Directors for further posting.

Under JPDCL Jammu, 33 officers including Showkat Imtiyaz, Vivek Kumar, Amit Sharma, Ajay Chib and others have been placed for deployment. Under KPDCL Srinagar, officers such as Nadia Gul, Anisa Yattoo, Arshid Ahmad Najar and Abid Rasool Bodha figure among 30 officers placed at the disposal of the MD. Officers including Jugraaj Singh, Sandeep Kour and Mohd Ashraf Malik have been placed under JKPTCL, while JKPDC will take in officers such as Parshotam Singh, Ajit Singh and Sheikh Muzamil Ahmad.

Two officers, Safdar Rashid and Aijaz Ahmad Raina, have been deployed to the Housing and Urban Development Department and PW (R&B) respectively.
