Türkiye-Saudi Arabia Explore New Trade Opportunities


(MENAFN) During the Türkiye-Saudi Arabia Business Forum held Friday in Istanbul, new avenues for trade were explored as part of the 11th World Halal Summit.

Organized by Türkiye's Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK), the Türkiye-Saudi Arabia Business Forum addressed sectors and proposals aimed at boosting commerce between the two nations.

The summit, which began Wednesday in Istanbul, gathered industry participants under the central theme of "Strengthening Halal Industry via Innovation and Excellence."

The 11th World Halal Summit and Expo, running from Nov. 26 to 29, is conducted under the patronage of the Turkish presidency, with support from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and multiple institutions, including the Turkish Trade Ministry and the Halal Accreditation Agency. Anadolu serves as the event’s global communications partner.

Key representatives from the Turkish and Saudi business communities attended the forum, concentrating on emerging business sectors, investment opportunities, and strategies to expand bilateral trade.

Discussions at the forum included prospects in strategic industries, measures to enhance trade volume, and long-term economic collaboration frameworks.

The summit also emphasized the expansion of the global halal market and highlighted the mutual competitiveness of Türkiye and Saudi Arabia within this sector.
