Philadelphia Flights Face Halt After “Bomb Threat


(MENAFN) Departures from Philadelphia International Airport were briefly suspended after officials cited a “bomb threat,” according to the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) on Friday.

In an advisory, the FAA indicated that the likelihood of the ground stop being prolonged was considered moderate, estimated between 30% and 60%.

Authorities did not disclose any additional information regarding the reported bomb threat.
