Doha, Qatar: Qatar Railways Company (Qatar Rail) hosted the '2025 Zero Harm Awards' ceremony, under the patronage and in the presence of H E Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie, Managing Director and CEO, alongside members of the executive and senior management.

The annual awards ceremony is a key pillar of Qatar Rail's strategy to foster a proactive and positive safety culture across all its operations and projects. The awards highlight the company's ongoing commitment to its vision of injury- and harm-free operations.

This year's edition recognised employees, contractors, service providers, and retailers who demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation, and dedication in applying the highest standards of health, safety, security, wellbeing, environment, and sustainability.

On this occasion, Eng. Abdulrahman Al Malik, Senior QSHESE Director at Qatar Rail, said:“Safety has always been the foundation of Qatar Rail's success. The 2025 edition of the awards featured 11 categories celebrating outstanding initiatives and behaviours aligned with the Zero Harm philosophy. More than 4,700 employees, workers, service providers, retailers, and subcontractors had the opportunity to participate in this year's competition.

The '2025 Zero Harm Awards' categories included: Qatar Rail Health and Safety League Champion, The Retailer Award, Design Contribution to Health & Safety, Environment & Sustainability Award, Health & Safety Communication Award, Health and Wellbeing Award, Unsung Hero Award, Don't Walk by Award, Inspiration Award, Team Award, and the MD & CEO Special Award. In collaboration with its partners, Qatar Rail continues to maintain an exemplary safety performance across its operations as part of its commitment to a world-class safety culture.
