(MENAFN- Gulf Times) HE the Minister of Culture of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Salem bin Khalid al-Qassimi visited the 2nd edition of the Fereej Arts and Design Festival at Darb Al Saai on Monday.

HE the Minister of Culture Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad al-Thani accompanied HE the Emirati minister on a tour of the festival's various sections, during which they were briefed on the works of art and innovative designs on display, in addition to the array of activities, events, and exhibitions featured in the festival, which reflect Qatar and the participating countries' cultural diversity and rich arts.

HE Sheikh Salem bin Khalid al-Qassimi praised the Fereej Arts and Design Festival in its activities and events, and commended the effort put into making it a platform to celebrate creativity and support young talents in various visual art and design fields.
This year's edition is witnessing a significant rise in the number of participating art institutions, exhibitions, and workshops, with more than 120 artists from 21 countries taking part.
