Successful Operation At Wana Cadet College Eliminates Remaining Attackers
The operation against militants who attacked Cadet College Wana was successfully completed, with the remaining three attackers, trapped inside one of the college buildings, neutralised.
According to security sources, apart from one suicide bomber, the other four attackers were killed during the successful operation. The college building is being cleared carefully due to the risk of planted explosives.
“During the operation, no student or staff member was harmed, and all cadets and teachers were safely rescued,” the sources confirmed.

Security officials said the operation was conducted with utmost caution and strategy to ensure the safety of the cadets, given the presence of Afghan militants inside the college.
It is worth noting that the previous day, Afghan militants had rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into the college's main gate, causing it to collapse and damaging nearby buildings.
Security sources stated that the attackers were operating from Afghanistan, taking instructions via telephone, and were hiding in a building far from the cadets' living quarters.
