H3 Zoom Raises $1.8 Million To Expand AI-Powered Infrastructure Inspection Across Asia
November 11, 2025 by David Edwards
Singapore-based deep tech startup H3 Zoom has secured $1.8 million in the first closing of its Series A funding round, led by JRE Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of JR East, with participation from SGInnovate and M7 Holdings.
The company, which develops AI-powered inspection and asset management tools for critical infrastructure, says the funds will support expansion into Japan and Hong Kong, strengthen operations in Singapore, and accelerate research and development.
Founded in 2016, H3 Zoom uses proprietary vision-language models and robotics-enabled data capture to automate inspection processes for buildings and transport assets.
Its technology has already been deployed across several CapitaLand properties in Singapore, reducing inspection time, lowering costs, and improving worker safety.
Shaun Koo, CEO and founder of H3 Zoom, says:“This funding allows us to turn building data into actionable maintenance decisions at scale – shortening inspection cycles, reducing rectification costs, and improving public safety.
“With JRE VENTURES, SGInnovate, and M7 Holdings, we're doubling down on high-precision AI, seamless enterprise integrations, and regional expansion.”
Junichi Eto, managing director of JRE Ventures, said:“H3 Zoom embodies the next generation of social infrastructure transformation through the power of AI. Through this investment, we aim to accelerate H3 Zoom's business expansion and proof-of-concept activities in the Japanese market.”
Hsien-Hui Tong, executive director of investments at SGInnovate, added:“H3 Zoom is a strong example of how AI-powered innovations can effectively address critical global challenges in infrastructure safety, resilience and sustainability.”
H3 Zoom plans to launch an AI Engineering Co-Pilot, expand multimodal workflows combining imagery and voice data, and pilot robotics-assisted inspections to improve defect detection.
The company's long-term goal is to establish itself as Asia-Pacific's leading platform for AI-driven inspection intelligence.
