Doha, Qatar: From art workshops and exhibitions to live music and children's activities, the second edition of the Fereej Arts and Design Festival at Darb Al Saai continues to attract families and visitors from across Qatar.

Organised by the Ministry of Culture, the festival runs until November 14, from 4pm to 10pm, and features works by more than 120 artists from 21 countries, including Qatar, Kuwait, Egypt, South Korea, Japan, Azerbaijan, Morocco, India, Australia, Spain, Iraq, Russia, Oman, Lebanon, the Philippines, Algeria, Jordan, Syria, Yemen, Indonesia, and Iran.

The event hosts more than 12 exhibitions and 14 workshops showcasing a variety of global art forms, from Japanese Bingata and Kuwaiti glass fusing to Australian natural color-making and Indian fabric printing, blending traditional techniques with contemporary creativity.

The festival is organised into six themed“Houses,” each with a distinct focus:

. Southern Fereej: Artists' studios, glass art, design markets, and olive branches area.

. Northern Fereej: Design studios, creative experiences, and art centers.

. Exhibition Courtyard: Solo art shows, a digital art gallery, live painting, and“Art of the Future” installations.

. Calligraphy House: Features the Memory of the Palm and Sutoor (Lines) exhibitions.

. Forum House: Hosts artistic talks, seminars, film screenings, and dining spaces.

. Ceramics House: Includes pottery, clay workshops, and a children's courtyard.

Bringing together local and international artists, the festival makes a significant contribution to Qatar's growing cultural and artistic scene.
