Sharjah Airport Introduces Home Check-In Service
Dhaka: Sharjah Airport has introduced a home check-in service aimed at making travel more convenient for passengers.
The service allows travellers to complete all check-in procedures from home, including obtaining their boarding passes and having their luggage collected, enabling them to proceed directly to passport control upon arrival at the airport.
Bookings can be made through the airport's website, by calling 800-745-424, or via the“SHJ Home Check-In” mobile app, and must be made at least eight hours before departure.
The service is currently available in selected areas of Sharjah city and offers three packages based on the number of bags: Coral for AED 145 (up to two bags), Silver for AED 165 (three to four bags), and Gold for AED 185 (up to six bags). Additional bags cost AED 20 each, subject to airline policies.
Sharjah Airport said the service is intended to save passengers time and enhance their travel experience, particularly during peak travel periods.
